Venkat Prabhu in an interview to a newspaper has confirmed that his pet project Mankatha with Ajith will start rolling in Hyderabad from October 20. The multi-starrer produced by Cloud Nine, has Ajith, Nagarjuna and Trisha among others, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Ajith according to the director will have an all new look for the film, which will be revealed on the day of the shoot. Venkat said that “Mankatha is not a gangster film but how different people meet in a situation and equations change after a particular incident and then it becomes a game of probability.”
Venkat in his interview said that it is an original subject and not inspired from any Hollywood film. The film will be shot in the metros of Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. Concluded Venkat: “ Mankatha will be something fresh and innovative, and will not have the usual dream songs. It will be a live action realistic film within the commercial format.”
