Lingusamy drops Mysskin project

Lingusamy and his production house Tirrupathi Brothers have dropped their Mysskin- Arya film Mugammoodi.
It was originally planned to be made with Suriya, with UTV as producers on a budget of Rs 30 Crore, but at the last minute, the producers backed out.

Then Mysskin held discussion with Vishal and his GK Corporation who after initial discussions backed out due to budget constraints.

The film is said to be Superman meeting Batman, the first super hero film in Tamil. Mysskin had done a lot of research on the subject and had even gone to Thailand to get special action choreographers for the film.

Finally Mysskin's ambitious project was cleared by producer Lingusamy and his brother Bose with Arya as the hero on a scaled down budget.

However, according to industry sources after Lingusamy saw Mysskin's Yudham Sei and its lukewarm performance at the box-office , he no longer wanted to back Mugammoodi.
The latest we hear is that Lingusamy has decided to make a film with Mynaadirector Prabhu Solomon with Arya as hero on a reasonable budget.

Meanwhile, Lingusamy will start his Vettai under his banner with Madhavan, Arya, Amala Paul and Sameera Reddy.
