Promising director Krish's Allu Arjun-Manoj-Anushka starrer Vedamis being remade in Tamil asVaanam. R.B. Chowdary of Super Good Movies bought the Tamil remake rights. Simbu will don the role of Cable Raju (originally played by Allu Arjun) in the Tamil version. Anushka reprises her role from the original. Now the latest buzz is that the film will grace theatres in April (for Tamil New Year). There are reports that a mass kuthu song picturised on Simbu and Anushka will be added to the movie and the script has been changed to suit the taste of Tamil audiences.
Vaanam's music launch is scheduled to take place on March 6, 2011.
