Karunanidhi’s next is ‘Dheeran Chinnamalai’

Even as busy campaigning for the April 13 elections to Tamil Nadu Assembly, Chief Minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi on Wednesday made an announcement on his next project in the tinsel town.
Agreeing to the request of Kongunadu Munnetra Kazhagam (KNMK) president Best S Ramasamy, Karunanidhi said that he would soon write a script on Dheeran Chinnamalai and ensure that it was made as a movie.
The octogenarian said this while addressing a public meeting in Coimbatore, organised to campaign for the 21 candidates of the DMK-led alliance that included the Congress and KNMK, from the districts in and around the industrial town.
“Like how the proceeds of my earlier films went for charity purposes, the remuneration I get for Dheeran Chinnamalai would be donated for the welfare of the working class and poor people of this region”, he said.
