Music Review: Seedan

The album begins with the romantic 'Enadhu Uiyirai' sung perfectly by Prasanna and Janaki Iyer. Music director Dhina has used some catchy interludes and orchestration to make it more interesting.

'Munpani' is a solo number rendered by the sensational Shreya Ghoshal. Her soft voice, simple music and perfect diction takes us to the next level. This song is definitely expected to top the charts.
Next comes 'Saravana Samayal' by Hariharan and Dhanush. This song reminds us of 'Enna Samayalo' from Unnal Mudiyum Thambi. Another major highlight of the song is its lyrics.

Shankar Mahadevan and Chinna Ponnu has rendered the peppy 'Valliamma', a foot tapping folkish kuthu number. This is in fact a mass number in typical Dhina style.

'Yadumaghiye' is an emotional song sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Kavita Krishnamoorthy Subramaniam. This number is very unique from Dhina's regular pattern of work.
And finally comes 'Oru Naal Mattum', an extremely emotional number sung perfectly by K.S. Chithra.
Overall, Seedan has a perfect mix of all the genres and music director Dhina has tried to add some classical flavour to the album.
